Visual 1st conference continues fellowship, innovation focus

Since it’s evolution from Mobile Photo Connect to “Visual 1st,” this annual fall conference has become a must-attend event for imaging-industry executives. An eclectic mix of retailers, labs, developers, suppliers, and investors gather each year at the Golden Gate Club to share ideas, to network and get a glimpse into the future of the imaging business. In addition to the traditional technology focus, the event also featured several sessions about monetization and future business models.

The sessions are a mix of panel discussions on wide-ranging topics, along with “fireside chats” with a luminary or an executive with a unique business challenge.

Visual 1st features three Show and Tell Sessions, which features four-minute demos of an app, a technology or business solution. The limited timeframe eliminates fluff and hyperbole; on the last day, the annual Visual 1st awards feature the best of the Show and Tell Sessions.
